Job description
The Nursing Assistant assists the Charge Nurse in the delivery of nursing care to patients. The nursing assistant is responsible for assisting patients with daily activities and tasks. You will ensure that all necessary supplies are available and assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment. Your duties will include helping with hygiene, meal preparation, and changing linens. If you are a nursing assistant candidate we require that you have compassionate personality and good attention to detail. We require a high degree of responsibility with the ability to work well as part of a team showing good communication skills.
Shifts open (4) 7am-3pm : (5) 3:00PM-11:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Maintain cleanliness of patients’ environment through daily cleaning and disinfecting.
- Provide accurate and timely information to physicians, nurses or other healthcare providers to ensure patient care is delivered efficiently.
- Monitor vital signs of patients and report any abnormalities to a physician or registered nurse.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures by washing, shaving and disinfecting the area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
