Job description
Pay starting at $13 for weekday shifts
Background check and oral drug swab required
$15 per hour for evening shift and weekend shifts. 2nd shift usually starts after 4:30 pm.
Weekend shifts are any shift starting Friday evening through shifts ending Sunday morning.
Applicants must have a Valid Driver's License, and Current Auto Insurance.
We have mandatory background checks and pre employment drug swab testing.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides homemaker (caregiver) services to individuals in their place of residence and assists them in maintaining their home.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Meets competency requirements.
- Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends oral and written instruction.
- Able to lift, push, and pull light to moderate loads.
- Valid Driver’s License
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
- Household Management-Light housekeeping such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing, wash dishes, change linen and makes bed.
- Run errands.
- Purchase and store groceries.
- Meal preparation and menu planning.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to the client and family.
- Maintain required competency and skills.
- Reports any changes in the client’s condition or family situation immediately by calling the office/supervisor.
- Practices Universal precautions according to OSHA regulations and agency policy and procedures.
- Attends at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education programs or approved audiovisuals per calendar year.
- Document all patient-client related activities in a timely manner.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to lift, move, and pull light to heavy loads. May do heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling, up to 25 pounds.
LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
1. Current Driver’s License
2. Current Automobile Liability Insurance According to Company Policy & Procedure.
3. State Certificate if applicable.
4. CPR Preferred
