Summary:
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raises funds and awareness for over 170 local children’s hospitals across North America. To meet this goal, national partnerships and fundraising programs are created to raise critical funds hospitals need to provide care for local sick and injured children. As a member of the Network, Stormont Vail Health is committed to driving funds to support its services in pediatrics such as the Child Life Program, the Breastfeeding Clinic and services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The (job title) is responsible for communications with Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners within a dedicated geographical area of the Topeka area market. Communities for this given region are Council Grove, Emporia and Burlington and include 11 partner locations. This position is focused on building and maintaining relationships with community partners in collaboration with the Stormont Vail Foundation. This position will act as a liaison to the Children’s Miracle Network Program Manager in executing fundraising campaigns locally within their designated region.
This position will specially work with the following audiences:
- Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners in activating their fundraising campaigns
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work closely with Stormont Vail Children’s Miracle Network Program Manager to
- Manage local kickoff events for fundraising campaigns day-of
- Provide ongoing support in person to retailers during key fundraising campaigns such as the Walmart Register Campaign, Ace Hardware Roundup and Bucket Days, Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, and others
- Collect feedback from partner visits and provide updates to the Children’s Miracle Network Program Manager
- Maintain a relationship with partner store managers and engage in stewardship with them throughout the year
- Strategize new and creative ideas to drive fundraising in the given region
Other Work You May Do
- Participate in goal setting/annual planning with hospital foundation staff
- Work with Extra Life participants in hosting local fundraising gaming events

Education/Experience:
The following are work or volunteer experiences that are preferred for this position
- Experience volunteering, fundraising, or working for a CMN affiliated hospital
- Experience volunteering or working in healthcare, for a nonprofit, or with a CMN corporate partner
- Experience in a leadership position
