Summary
This role will work closely with multiple Attorney teams in a region to process a high volume of case settlements. Successful candidates will be responsible for areas including but not limited to the following.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of complete and accurate closing statements which reflect proper disposition of all awarded settlement to various parties
- Work with Providers to deliver maximum value to our clients
- Works directly with Finance for check deposits and payments
- Responds to questions/issues regarding the settlement
- Manage appropriate timelines as dictated by settlement details and local, state or federal guidelines
- Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in Personal Injury, Premises, or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must possess the following skills: Initiative, Organization, Planning, Attention to Detail, Follow- through, Confidentiality, Dependability, Client Confidentiality
- Work with attorneys as well as external clients at all levels
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
