LCSW Clinical Supervisor $50-$55 per hour, part-time, up to 20 hours per week.

General Description:

Under the administrative direction of the Clinical Director and Clinical Manager, the Clinical Supervisor ensures the extent, kind, and quality of counseling performed is consistent with the education, training, and experience of supervisees. The Clinical Supervisor demonstrates expertise and eagerness to provide a culturally competent and trauma-informed approach to clinical supervision for a diverse group of supervisees serving clients across California. Clinical Supervisor monitors and evaluates the supervisee’s assessment, clinical judgment, and treatment decisions and provides regular feedback. The Clinical Supervisor supports supervisees through individual, triadic, and group supervision. The Clinical Supervisor communicates with program management to provide informed evaluations for students in practicum and ensures clinical guidance is given in tandem with program protocols and policies. The Clinical Supervisor will collaborate with Clinical Manager and Human Resources when needed to support an employee’s development. May offer on-call support on evenings and weekends. May have a reduced/flexible schedule during school breaks.

General Responsibilities:

•

• Collaborates with the Clinical Director and Clinical Manager as needed.

• Adheres to weekly supervision schedules, office hours, and on-call hours.

• Limits time off during the school year.

• Adjusts supervision schedules and work hours during school breaks to accommodate clinical/administrative needs.

• Participates in all required meetings.

• Provides excellent clinical supervision and documentation of supervision that includes a review of relevant research, development of clinical skills, BBS updates, law and ethics, school-based therapy interventions, and company curriculum.

• Ensures the supervisee’s awareness and understanding of laws and regulations governing the practice of marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, or professional clinical counseling.

• Reviews supervisees’ progress notes and other client records and supports program manager in training or improvement plans for supervisees when needed.

• Maintains organized and thorough documentation of clinical supervision records.

• Performs both individual, group, and triadic clinical supervision via Zoom) during afternoons and evenings.

• Demonstrates mindfulness of company resources when creating supervision schedules and assignments to maximize resources and time.

• Provides on-call hours (minimum of 1 day per week) for both Wellness Together & HearYou.org counselor support.

• Oversees clinical documentation in order to maintain HIPAA/FERPA standards.

• Assists program managers in training and supporting supervisees in their engagement with company policies, relationships in a school setting, and job performance.

• Completes practicum evaluations and agreements with professional and Human resource-informed language.

• Provides quality clinical training to staff.

• Completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 
  Education Required: Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field.

• Possesses a license in good standing under California BBS as an LCSW with a minimum of 2 years licensed.

• Experience providing Clinical Supervision preferred.

• Experience providing school-based clinical supervision preferred.

• Eligible to provide Clinical Supervision under BBS standards and regulations.

• For at least 2 of the past 5 years immediately preceding supervision, the supervisor has practiced psychotherapy or provided direct clinical supervision of therapy performed by Marriage and Family Therapist trainees, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs), Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCCs), or Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs).

• Proof of completion of BBS-required Clinical Supervision Training CEUs.

• PPS credential desired.

• Knowledge of school-based therapy, public education policy, and FERPA desired.

• Proficiency with Zoom and GoogleSuite required.

• 2+ years of experience in practice management and/or clinical supervision preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills required.

• Strong supervisory skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required.

$50 per hour: Clinical Supervisor I: 0-23 months experience of clinical supervision in a school-based setting.

$55 per hour: Clinical Supervisor II: 2+ years experience providing clinical supervision in a school-based setting.
