Assists VP & Chief Clinical Officer by assisting in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of clinical projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed timeline by collaborating with responsible parties.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Assists with project start-up activities and throughout the life cycle of the project. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.


2. Reviews project plans to determine time frames, procedures for accomplishing project, staff requirements, and allotment of available resources for various phases of project.


3. Establishes time lines, communicates with team members, and tracks project objectives. Schedules and coordinates site trainings as required. Creates, updates, and maintains project trackers, and ensures timely updates.


4. Creates work plan and identifies staffing requirements for each phase of project and arranges for assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline workplan. Guides in the assignment of duties, and responsibilities.


5. Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed timeline and budget. Schedules/leads project meetings, generates agendas, and documents meeting minutes.


6. Provides regular updates to clinical and operational directors and applicable members of senior management team on project status. Generates and prepares project reports for Directors, Senior Management, and others as needed.


7. Confers with project personnel to identify challenges, provide feedback, and to resolve problems. Serves as liaison between project members to resolve concerns.


8. Performs all other related duties as assigned.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Management, or Nursing required

Experience managing projects required.

Experience managing projects in medical/clinical setting preferred.

Must have strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

Must be knowledgeable of personal computers to include word processing, spreadsheets, and Internet//Intranet navigations

Must have the ability to multitask and work to critical time-lines and under pressure

Ability to work collaboratively with other department leaders and staff

Ability to travel for meetings, training and company facilities as needed

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:


Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects.


Talking: Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.


Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.


Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.


Visual: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or other materials.


Physical: Moderate activity; assisting nurses and monitoring flow. May have to lift folders, files, papers, audio/video equipment, and other such items weighing up to approximately 25 lbs.


Education

Required
  • Bachelors or better in Health Care Administration
