Clinical Office Assistant
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the clinical staff in providing direct patient care.
- Preform clinical and non-clinical tasks.
- Reviews initial referral request for therapy services
- Contacts appropriate payer (employer/insurance carrier) to obtain authorization for requested therapy services.
- Submits required documentation to payer to assist in authorization process.
- Answering phones/ scheduling appointment
- Pulls medical records and process charts
- Assist patients on and off clinic equipment
- Preform patent mordellids as direct by the Physical therapist
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
