This Clinical Director of Community Programs will take an active role in providing training to all community and residential team members with a focus on treatment diagnosis, case conferencing, risk assessment, best practice, evidence-based models, interventions strategies, and other pertinent topics to the population served

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a clinical liaison for the Senior Director of Community Programs with funders and stakeholders, providing support and client advocacy.
  • Review clinical records prior to community and residential admissions, assessing for risk and appropriateness for the program.
  • Work with all Program Coordinators, on-site and at each program, to provide clinical support to all employees and clients.
  • Provides clinical trainings and educational support of evidenced based practices to all employees on a monthly basis.
  • Assists with program admissions and conducts intakes for new residential clients and makes appropriate referrals.
  • Interfaces consistently with agency directors, coordinators, and community/residential employees to ensure that integration and collaboration of clinical services are delivered seamlessly, for increased access to services for clients while promoting a healthy work culture.

· Must have a strong understanding and able to teach trauma informed care, mental health, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, motivational interviewing skills, as well as other areas identified.

· May provide clinical guidance, support, and recommendations to non-clinical community-based programs as needed.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Science, LCSW licensure required; minimum of one (1) year of experience providing assessments, individual and group therapy, discharge planning, and referral services to adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders; substance abuse and co-occurring disorders experience preferred; current and valid driver’s license required; CPR/First Aid certified or eligible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
