Who We Are: The Empire State Medical, Scientific and Educational Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) is a not-for-profit corporation focused on providing quality medical review services and DRG/coding validation to providers and payors at all levels of care. The Foundation has been involved in medical peer review activities since 1984 at the State and National levels. We are URAC accredited as an “Independent Review Organization: Comprehensive”.

The Position: Seeking a highly motivated person to perform clerical and data entry functions. Primary responsibilities: daily posting of incoming and outgoing letters, filing, data entry of incoming records. Fill-in receptionist as needed.

Job Type: Full Time (Monday – Friday - 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour

The successful candidate must be:

-extremely proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

-detail oriented

-possess a high level of confidentiality

-ability to deal with a variety of people in a processional, courteous manner

-possess an excellent phone manner

-some college preferred
