SUMMARY
Owens Corning is looking for a cleaning technincan in our plant. Manufacturing background in a fast paced production environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning
- Trash removal
- Disinfecting common areas
- Maintaining all bathrooms (toilets, sinks, soap dispensers, paper towels)
- Mopping, vacuuming common areas
- Dusting
- Facility Maintenance:
- Painting
- Light fixtures
Additional Responsibilities:
- Read and understand production schedule
- Comply with all plant rules
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Regular Attendance and maintain a good attendance record
- Be a team player
- All other duties as assigned or needed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
- Accurately read tape measurers
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance
- Work up to 8 hours in hot/cold manufacturing environment
- Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 8 hours
- Safeguard self with Personal protective Equipment (PPE)
- Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties
- Ability to work overtime as necessary

Salary: $19.00 per hour
