Responsibilities/Duties
To work as a part of a team to assist in carrying out educational activities in the classroom setting. This position is considered the 3rd person in the classroom. Implement educational activities by providing and maintaining an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness and developmentally appropriate practices for 3 and 4-year old children

Location, Hours and Salary - Positions available in multiple HEAD START CENTERS in the Greater Wilkes-Barre Area:

• DALLAS: (1) Back Mountain Center, Yalick Rd; (2) Westmoreland, Lehigh St; (3) Dallas - Parsonage St
• EDWARDSVILLE/KINGSTON: (1) Meyers Street, Edwardsville, (2) Church of Christ Uniting Center, Sprague Street, Kingston
• NANTICOKE: (1) LCCC Center @ Luzerne County Community College; (2) 1010 S. Hancock Street, Nanticoke
• WILKES-BARRE: Beekman Street
• PLAINS/PITTSTON Area

All positions are Part Time, 10-months – working a school schedule Aug-June, 30 hrs/wk

• Rate of Pay: $13.50
