Full-Time Class A CDL Driver/Laborer
Overview:
We are a rapidly growing company based out of Blue Grass, Iowa that has been proudly doing business for over 20 years. Brus Construction, LLC started with 3 employees, doing mostly residential room additions and remodel work. We now employ over 22 hardworking individuals and have transitioned into specializing in commercial, plant work, and industrial construction, doing work for several large area businesses. We offer a wide range of construction services and are looking for hardworking individuals to join our team!
Position Summary:
We are looking to fill an open full-time position with our company for a Class A CDL Driver. Ideal candidate will possess the skills and license required to drive commercial dump trucks. Being a General Contractor, our company offers a wide range of services to our customers. In turn, we need employees who are flexible and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform Pre-Trip Inspections
- Safely transport equipment or materials to job sites
- Follow all DOT & FMSCA regulations
- Complete trucking timecards accurately with all pertinent information
- Log miles traveled per trip, per day, per truck
- Maintain clean trucks
- Turn paperwork in daily
Requirements:
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) for intrastate commerce
- Must pass Pre-Employment/DOT drug screen & physical
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- No positive and/or refused drug and alcohol test(s)
- Stable work history and excellent safety record
- Solid MVR, no serious violations in the last 5 years
