Claims Field Adjuster

American Modern Insurance Group is recruiting for Field Adjuster to join our growing team in the Ventura county/Northern LA County, California area! As a Field Adjuster, you will work the frontlines of our business to "keep the promise", by taking care of our customers when they need it the most. You will be given all the tools needed to provide exceptional service. These include, paid company training, a company vehicle, computer, I-phone and can work from your home office. This position will report to the Claim's Supervisor.

• Provide prompt customer contact and inspection of assigned claims
• Handle assigned claims from start to finish, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis and subrogation/salvage assessment
• Establish relationships with producing agencies
• Participation in catastrophe duty

WE EXPECT

This job might be for you if:

• You have previous property claims experience OR customer service experience coupled with a construction background
• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience
• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are also required.
• Industry training, coursework, certifications are preferred. (AIC, CPCU, SCLA).
• Previous claims adjusting and estimating experience is preferred
• Requires ability to lift, carry, set up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 35 pounds

We're seeking an individual with excellent decision-making skills, the ability to work under pressure, solid
organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks
in a standard work day.The base salary range anticipated for this position is $45,800 to $77,700, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
