Come join our team in a fun, energetic chiropractic office. We have 2 chiropractors, 1 massage therapist, and 1 amazing front desk person.

This is a part-time position with 25 to 35 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility with your schedule.

Job Summary:

In addition to billing health insurance and PIP. This position manages the personal injury cases from start to finish. We can train your for this if you do not have experience with personal injury.

Occasionally, you will fill in for front desk. This could be for illness, or lunch break. You would need to answer the phone while they are away from the desk. Help schedule and appointment, etc.

- Insurance verification of auto (liability, UM, PIP), workers' compensation, and health

- Communication with attorney offices and auto insurance claim adjusters

- Billing insurances, sending statements, posting payments, collecting payments

- Managing medical records requests, scanning records, sending out records.

- Liens on 3rd party insurance carriers

- Front desk reception when receptionist is at lunch / busy / on break

- Mail runs and bank deposit runs.

- Credentialing for the providers

- purchasing clinic and office supplies

Requirements

- Knowledge of how health insurance works (co-insurance, deductibles, explanation of benefits).

- Knowledge of how car insurance works (PIP, Liability, UM)

- Must be comfortable greeting and interacting with patients on the phone and in person

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
