Job description
Position Summary:
Responsible for patients in the agency’s outpatient mental health program
Work Description:
- Review new admissions and patient assignments.
- Review clinical case treatment progress and termination and medical and lab work.
- Available to staff for special consultative conferences and training of staff.
- Evaluates and treats patients.
- Attends meetings related to procedures and programs.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication supervision to a diverse population of children, adolescents and young adults.
- Maintain clinical records in compliance with State, County and Agency funders.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Recognizing symptoms and signs of various psychiatric illnesses and disorders and co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and dependence.
- Creating care plans
- Coordinating diagnostic tests and other services
- Using electronic medical records systems
- Understanding proper format for patient note documentation
- Possessing current state licensure and medication dispensing license (DEA)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $200.00 per hour
