About our Chief Technology Officer Position
Location: Florida (Preferred)
Florida: - Miami, Doral, Weston, Miramar, Plantation, Pembroke Pines
We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Chief technology Officer, individual within an organization who oversees the current technology and creates relevant policy. A CTO should have the business knowledge necessary to align technology-related decisions with the organization's goals. In addition to fixing IT-related issues, the CTO is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and evaluating the company's overall product portfolio along with business growth. The goal of a CTO is to examine short- and long-term needs while using capital to make investments that aid the organization in reaching its goals.
Able to deliver Project Management, Engineering, Installation, Civil Work, Product Configuration and Integration services covering end-to-end deployments that address Radio Systems, 3G, LTE, 5G, Mobile Broadband, Packet Transport, Transmission, IP, Fiber and Multi-Vendor Networks for wireless telecom tier1 carriers/operators in addition to other verticals with services spanning from site build to commercial launch.
Modernizing and replacing RAN legacy radio equipment’s and other vendor’s equipment’s with new radio network from Ericsson to Improve telecom operators’ RAN capacity and network performance
CTOs play an important role in the C-suite, as they are often in positions that enable them to embrace newer and innovative technologies and help organizations toward better efficiency and performance by adopting global trends and technologies.
Chief Technology Officer Position Responsibilities are:
· Tech strategy:
o Monitor social and technology trends that could influence the company's business goals.
o Identify opportunities and risks for the business.
o Participate in management decisions about corporate governance.
· Research and development:
o Research, outline and recommend the most effective content management systems.
o Research and product development with reference to competition.
o Maintain current information about technology standards and compliance regulations.
o Manage research and development of technology, IT assets and associated revenue.
o Develop a strategy to oversee the use of new technology globally and cost effective.
o Approve new designs for IT infrastructure and communication systems.
· Other responsibilities:
o Communicate the company's product portfolio & strategy to partners, management, investors, and employees.
o Assist with the recruitment, retention, acquisition, and sales efforts of the company. Build relationships with vendors, communities, and customers.
o Monitor and assess IT budgets, develop corporate strategies and business models while analyzing different target markets.
CTO requirements are:
· Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
· 15 years of experience in Ericsson and Telecommunication industry in CBRS, LTE/4G and 5G CPE solutions; Knowledgeable of WiFi, LAN networking, 4G LTE, TCP/IP, RF protocols.
· CTOs must understand the fundamentals of the business they belong to. They develop and oversee strategies to improve an organization, product line and sales.
· He must have ability to take decision and uplift business with his numerous business ideas and decisions.
· Leadership and team management skills are needed for CTOs who oversee managers and teams.
· CTO need strong communication skills to convey the technology needs of customers by implement new technologies. Other soft skills needed include problem-solving, time management and multitasking.
· Familiar with Telco, ISP, and wireless carriers’ network equipment and operations
· Understanding of network technologies including xDSL, GPON, Active Ethernet, Wireless LAN, 4G LTE, and other networking technologies
· Experience in selling technical solutions
· Strong technical knowledge of 4G/ CBRS/ 5G LTE technologies
· Being familiar with the platforms associated with this line of work
· Excellent creativity, communication and presentation skills
· Being able to forge long-lasting relationships with executives on customer side
· Travel required to customer sites, tradeshows, demos, trainings etc.
Compensation:
Attractive Salary – $160k - $180k annually + Commission. This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
