Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. is in search of a Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. (NMHSI), the COO is responsible for overall clinical operations throughout the organization. He/she oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct patient care services rendered by NMHSI, as well as the workforce necessary to conduct patient care activities.
These services may be provided in both clinic and outreach settings. The COO is responsible for enhancing the overall continuity of patient care and fostering a professional working relationship between all health care disciplines. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the COO participates in the development and administration of policies on clinical and business operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field, Master’s Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience in a health care setting
- Demonstrated experience in program planning and development
- Ability to work well under pressure in the face of competing demands
- Must be able to travel as necessary and have a current driver license
