Job Responsibilities for a CHHA - Certified Home Health Aide - (Per Diem)Inpatient Hospice Unit; Mt Holly includes:

• Works under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide patient care
• Assists with activities of dialing living, such as providing for personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, repositioning, including passive ROM positioning, transfer, ambulation and use of assistive devices etc.
• Documents patient care measures on the CHHA care plan

• Use safety equipment, as trained, to reduce risk of injury to patient and self, as instructed by plan of care and in communication with nurse concerning patients’ equipment needs
• Perform light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed, including changing bed, laundering of bed linens and patient items
• Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire community
• Attends all mandatory educational programs
• Attends 12 additional hours of continuing education programs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements CHHA - Certified Home Health Aide - HHA - Inpatient Center Aide - Inpatient Hospice Unit HHA Must have current NJ HHA license. We do prefer 1 year previous experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
