Job description
We are seeking a caring and compassionate person to work with our patients, assisting them with basic tasks such as housekeeping, laundry and preparing food. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing emotional support to our patients, their families and the nursing team. This is a hands-on position that requires lifting up to 50 lbs and regular interaction with our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic personal care to patients who live in the home.
- Assist the client with activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide assistance with eating, preparing meals, light housework, shopping, and other daily activities.
- Assist the client with medical-related needs such as administering medications.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Perth Amboy, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CNA (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
