Job Summary
· This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties.
· Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.
Requirements:
· Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
· Experience 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role.
· Candidates need actual pre-cert experience (obtaining authorizations from insurance companies for scheduled hospital services including radiology studies, surgical procedures, and chemotherapy(Required!)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Pre-Cert: 2 years (Preferred)
- Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
- Obtaining Authorizations for Chemotherapy: 1 year (Preferred)
