Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Cost and Revenue Efficiency Manager, the Financial Analyst will prepare cost and revenue analysis to provide informative, detailed reports outlining efficiencies and key financial information for management review.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Performs Cost and Revenue analysis to provide detailed findings and recommendations
  • Analyzes Cost and Revenue performance, variance, trends, and gathers findings to be discussed with the Cost and Revenue Efficiency manager
  • Follows up on Cost Saving and Revenue Efficiency initiatives until its implementation and execution
  • Identifies areas of potential cost saving and revenue increase to optimize group margin and proposes solutions.
  • Compares actual expenses against revenues for profitability analysis.
  • Execute ongoing improvements to the Cost and Revenue Efficiency program tools and methodologies
  • Works on project-based assignments with efficiency purposes.
  • Participates to the training of new employees in the company’s policies, procedures, and best practices. Offers feedback and supports the professional development of Financial Analysts

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Accounting/ Finance/ Engineering is a plus)
  • At least 3 years of related experience in financial/business analytical field required
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years industry experience
  • Solid knowledge of accounting/finance principles
  • Ability to develop processes and design process manuals
  • Ability to read and interpret contractual agreements

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

  • MBA or Master of Science in a relevant field
  • Lean six sigma certification
  • Data analytics experience/knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL Data Modeling
  • Programming experience, preferably Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
