RHD Team ARRIVE is looking for Full Time Certified Peer Specialists at this time. Certified Peer Specialist
(CPS) provides support to adults who have Behavioral Health needs in the community. CPS's must be enthusiastic, reliable, and person-centered people who are passionate about supporting individuals who have a mental illness to attain the highest level of independence possible, having meaningful relationships and lives they choose. The CPS must be able to address the dynamic ever-changing needs of the people they support and promote a climate of compassion, understanding and realization of people's dreams.

The specific schedule of this position is as follows:

Monday- Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm (With flexibility on evenings and weekends required based on the needs of individuals in services)

Sign-On Bonus:

RHD Team ARRIVE is offering HIRING BONUSES for the Certified Peer Specialist positions! A $3000 hiring bonus for Full-Time employees to be distributed in two parts during the first 6 months of employment.

Part one-Following the successful completion of introductory period, hiring bonus will be processed for the employee. The CPS will receive $1500 gross.

Part two-Following the initial 180 days of successful and continuous employment as a CPS, a second hiring bonus will be processed for the employee. The CPS will receive $1500 gross.

Responsibilities/Duties

Advocate with people in recovery to assist them with obtaining successfully independent living

Assist with the development of goal plans and WRAP

Required Experience

One year of employment experience or 24 college credits within the last three years

HS Diploma or GED

Program Summary

Team A.R.R.I.V.E. (Achieving Recovery and Rehabilitation with Individual Vision and Excellence) is the mobile core services team for individuals moving to permanent supported housing, utilizing psychiatric rehabilitation, peer support, and tenant support services for individuals with mental health needs.


"RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one-dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final dose must be received within
4 weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters."
