Description of Role:

HHMC & FRC is looking for an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to add to growing team. The CNM will be responsible for providing a full range of primary health services for women from adolescence to beyond menopause.

Essential Functions:

Provide a wide range of services and care for expecting mothers and women including primary care, preconception care, gynecologic and family planning services, prenatal examinations

• Caring for women during labor and delivery and continuously providing care for the newborn during the first 28 days of life
• Counseling and educating male and female patients on contraceptives, reproductive health, and family planning
• Educating and facilitating STD/STI testing and treatment on expecting parents
• Performing preventative health screenings and tests
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Midwife License in California (Required)
• MS Nursing Degree (Required)
• Bilingual Skills (Preferred)
• National Certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board
• Two (2) years' experience providing clinical services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,200.00 - $156,000.00 per year
