We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Child Life Specialist (CCLS) to join our skilled Team in Voorhees, NJ. Hours include 7:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday.

This position is eligible for our full benefits package.

As a member of our Pediatric Team, you will be responsible for:

• The certified child life specialist (CCLS) provides services to the Medical Day Center children as an integral member of the Medical Day Interdisciplinary Team. The CCLS is responsible for the direction, provision, and quality of the activities service. Therapeutic recreation services will address the assessment of child developmental activities, play and recreation and psychosocial adjustment to the day care setting in order to facilitate therapeutic recreation services (including treatment and recreation/play opportunities), and to support and facilitate activities which are developmentally appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)
• Dual certification as a CTRS a plus.
• At least 2 years’ experience working with children with disabilities or chronic illness
• Ability to supervise groups of infants and children with disabilities in a safe manner
• Pediatric experience in medical settings preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to function as a team member
• CPR/ BLS certification
