What you’ll be doing
- Doughnuts, pie crusts, whole pies, and cookie dough on production line
- Use electric mixers, other equipment as intended
- Use established recipes to measure and mix ingredients for a consistent product
- Use thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperatures
- Visually inspects product for quality and quantity
- Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake – watch for items out of the ordinary
- Rotates among duties including filler machine, wrapper machine, packing boxes, stacking boxes, etc.
- Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers, sanitize prep areas
- Maintains a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety policy and sanitation procedures
Skills you’ll bring along
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to read and interpret recipes
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- Able to lift and/or move 10 to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- SafeServ certification – but we can provide training if you don’t
