Outreach Center Director
Under the Senior Pastor's leadership, the Outreach Center Director will develop strategies and provide leadership, vision, and management for the Grove Outreach Center programs. In addition, the Outreach Center Director will also assist persons in need within our congregation and community, build relationships with key community and ministry leaders and organizations, plan/develop for future engagement opportunities, and represent the Grove at community meetings to share 'The Grove Outreach Mission.'
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Grow our network of partnerships with other churches, ministry influencers, organizations, and businesses to provide services that minister to the needs of our congregation and community.
- Revitalize The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church Food Drive-Through / Walk-Up Pantry.
- Secure food and grocery donations through community partnerships and donors.
- Secure volunteers to deliver food to members and friends in the community who cannot pick up food on their own.
- Identify local schools and apartment complexes in need and provide an on-location food pantry.
- Partner with The Greater Piney Grove Community Development Center (CDC) in obtaining partners and sponsors for annual holiday food planning, i.e., Easter and Thanksgiving.
- Remain well-informed of and evaluate trends affecting the community and the Grove.
- Research grant opportunities that align with our mission, vision, and values.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of organizational programs and partnerships to create strong grant proposals that help support community projects and the Outreach Center goals.
- Develop outcomes-based metrics and measures to determine the effectiveness of the Outreach Center efforts.
- Ensure record keeping and statistical information are maintained, updated, and communicated.
- Prepare periodic and annual reports regarding funding sources and the effectiveness and achievements of the Outreach Center programs.
- Oversee the procedures and programs by which grants are recorded and acknowledged, our donors are recognized and appreciated, and accurate financial records and files are maintained.
