PAY RATE: $16.00 PER HOUR
WORK LOCATION: AMB BREWERY
SHIFT: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY
8:00AM – 4:00PM
ROLE SUMMARY: Appalachian Mountain Brewery is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our innovation brewing team in Boone, NC. This individual will be responsible for cellaring and packaging beer and cider, assisting brewers on brew days, and bring small batch beer and cider ideas to life.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for duties associated with fermentation cellar and beer released for packaging

Follow SOPs to execute brewery processes ranging from simple to complex
-
Consistently follow all guidelines and routines around safety, quality, and sanitization

Execute duties efficiently in line with the beer production schedule

Increase beer culture in the brewery and outside by sharing your knowledge and passion of beer and brewing
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Production brewing experience and/or brewing education preferred
-
1-3 years of cellar and/or brewing experience preferred
-
Forklift and Scissor Lift experience preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly and stand for a full shift

Ability to work independently and with a team

Knowledge of food/beverage industry sanitation processes a plus

Excellent communication and time management skills
