Job Description

This position is an in-office professional, who provides exceptional customer service while also supporting a person focused healthcare clinic by through a variety of clerical, billing, collection and reimbursement duties. This professional is personable, energetic and excited to work with people. These duties include, but are not limited to: (1) engaging the community in courteous and cheerful manner; (2) completing financial reviews to include verification of insurance coverage and benefits; (3) counseling persons and families on copays, coinsurance, deductibles and any applicable Monthly Ability to Pay; (4) use of a state of the art the electronic health record; (5) coordinating appointments; (6) greeting and checking persons in virtually or in person.

Salary: $16.48 – $18.23

Retirement Plans:
401A: Through this governmental plan, we offer a 7% match to employee contributions.
457/403(b): Through these governmental plans, employees may contribute pre-tax earnings for retirement. Employees may participate on the first day of employment.

Credentials
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; knowledge of Excel and Word, record keeping, good organizational skills.

Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a clinical/medical office setting. Knowledge of insurance preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL highly preferred.
