Table Games Dual Rate Floor Supervisor

Critical Tasks

  • Ensure that gaming operations are run in a manner that exemplifies our core values, meets established quality standards, and are in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Resolve all customer complaints quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Manage assigned team members and use resources in a respectful and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Ensure that team members have the proper tools and training to perform their jobs effectively and safely.
  • Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to managing work schedules to meet anticipated gaming table levels, ensuring that procedures are strictly adhered to, resolving customer issues and concerns, inspecting all gaming areas to ensure that they are well maintained and in good repair.
  • Ensures compliance with Title 31 regulations.

  • Provide strong leadership to cultivate an environment where team members demonstrate pride, commitment to their profession and to the casino, teamwork, and our core values.
  • Maintain a high profile with customers and staff.
  • Other tasks may include regularly recognizing team members for a job well done, , reporting incidents, resolving issues on a timely basis, etc.
  • Safety and Security

Critical Tasks

  • Perform asset protection functions in accordance with casino security procedures, e.g., detecting and preventing scams, collusion, cheating and thefts. Conduct investigations on possible thefts, cheating, or collusion.
  • Maintain facilities and equipment in compliance with safe work practices.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner in consideration of the well-being of others and which results in a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure the staff is aware of all safety procedures and use safe work practices.

  • Participate in regular training and apply learning and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate initiative and take ownership of the customer experience, doing what is needed without being directed to do so.

Qualifications and Standards

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in gaming, hospitality services, or other fields related to gaming.

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in the gaming industry on a casino floor or equivalent operations. Management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background and credit check, and drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge, or license.
  • Must possess a detailed knowledge of all games operated at the casino or be capable of learning all games within probationary period.
  • Can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Excellent skills in customer relations.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience of best practices, laws and regulations, policies and procedures specific to the gaming industry or be capable of learning the aforementioned within the probationary period.
  • Recognized as a strong leader.
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, professional journals and government regulations.
  • Able to write concise reports and business correspondence.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, or upper management.
