MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR COMMUNITY YOUTH!

Seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to provide support services to our local at risk youth population with primary concern for health and safety of individuals and/or families being served, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, safety and security, respect for human rights, care coordination, and community relations. In this position, staff is responsible for maintaining an ongoing caseload of youth ranging from 10 to 21 years. Primary responsibilities are to provide mentorship, guidance and support to the youth that we serve, while maintaining a professional and supportive relationship with our funder(s). We strive to make a difference in the lives of our local youth and help them work towards becoming healthy, happy and successful members of the community.

Minimum Qualifications –

· Associates Degree, Bachelor's preferred, in Human Services and/or 2 years of experience in a related field.

· Experience working with youth, particularly those in the at risk population.

· Knowledge of the Department of Children and Families or child welfare.

· Ability to work independently.

· Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills.

· Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations.

· Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications.

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

· Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to an automobile.

· Comfortable driving to new places and transporting youth/clients in your personal vehicle.
