Homes for Independent Living (HIL) has been a leader offering residential services for adults who have a wide variety of disabilities since 1984. Our residents live in small group homes or apartment settings which allow for individualized attention and support. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. A DSP provides direct care support services for our clients in order to maximize the individual’s potential. Following Individual Service Plans and Behavioral Support Plans, a DSP is focused on providing services that enhance the overall health, safety, and welfare of their clients.

We have a variety of locations near you: Green Bay, Little Suamico, Sobieski, Pulaski, New Franken, DePere, and Denmark.

Responsibilities Include:

• Interact with clients assisting with day to day tasks
• Administration of individualized medical cares
• Health monitoring and medication administration
• Meal preparation in accordance to dietary guidelines
• Light housekeeping
• Personal cares

Availability:

• Full-Time and Part Time positions with set schedules
• Casual and Float positions with flexible schedules
• 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Demonstrated passion, accountability, & teamwork
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes
• Ability to work with individuals with special needs or willingness to learn
• Successful completion of a caregiver background check, TB test and Health Screen
