We have a variety of hours available and work with your busy schedule to get you the hours you need. We are currently looking to fill day shift hours in Perry County with a variety of seniors. We are also offering a $500 Sign-on Bonus to new hires. Earn $100 of your bonus after working for 80 hours, and earn the remaining $400 after 90 days of employment. We value hard work and dedication at Home Instead, and want to show you our appreciation!
As a Caregiver, you will work with seniors in their homes to help with their activities of daily living. You may provide personal care, meal preparation, assistance with bathing and grooming, or transportation for errands or appointments. A Care Professional will assist with each client's individual needs by following their care plan. You will also provide companionship to your clients, which is a great opportunity to build a connection. By providing one-to-one time, you will build trust with your clients. You may also participate in activities based around their interests to help them stay engaged and active. Some clients enjoy music, crafting, drawing, or playing games. Requirements to be a Caregiver:
- Have a passion for caring for others
- Ability to assist clients in their home with activities of daily living
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
