BrightStar Care of Ann Arbor / Brighton, MI is looking for a caring, motivated individual who is interested in taking their caregiving skills to the next level!
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week, 4 days/week with some weekends.
- Must have open availability between 7 am – 7 pm Monday-Thursday
BrightStar Care currently has a Care Specialist position available. This would be an elevated role that ensures that our clients experience seamless care during transition periods, such as hospitalizations/discharges, or onboarding of a new client. The care specialist would be expected to ensure that the client has the support they need during these times. Care Specialist Job Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with office work
- Assist with field work
- Drop off supplies
- Provide training for caregivers
- Introduce new caregivers and field staff to clients
Requirements:
- Must have open availability between 7 am – 7 pm
- Must be vaccinated against COVID19
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle background check
- CNA license is preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
- Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
- Mandatory CEU’s
- Must be ok to work around pets
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
