Responsibilities
PerformsEchocardiogram procedures including Transthorasic Echocardiograms Transesophageal Echocardiograms with Cardiologist Stress Echocardiograms with Cardiologist. Completes Echocardiogram reports on Heartlab and processs finalized Echocardiogram reports for Medical billing. Performs Echocardiograms requiring independent judgement and Initiative. Participates with ICAEL accreditation and QA. The Technologist will assist with a teaching environment with students and new employees.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
H/S GED required completion of Echocardiography program.
CCI Cardiovascular Credentialling International or Registry eligible as a RDCS in Adult Echocardiography.
CCI or eligible Sonographer must attain Registry with ARDMS within 1 year.
PREFERRED:
Completion of Echocardiogram program
