Camera Testing Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Fulltime

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding of CE Devices Architecture
• Develop testing requirement documents, testing setup requirements, and testing architecture required for each test.
• Identify, test, track and report KPI trends over the course of the projects
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences
• Experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation
• Testing of devices at different thermal and environment conditions (for eg. Setup based on different env conditions)

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• System and functional level testing of Camera level use cases
• Different scenarios involving Plastic and Glass + Plastic lens
• Test setup specific for Camera testing
• Testing in different thermal and other env scenarios

Product understanding

• AR Glasses under Fashion Brand Ray Ban
• Ray Ban powered with Facebook
• Gen1 Product getting launched in few days
• IPX4 compliant – this was a pain area
• 2 Camera, 2 Speaker, multiple Camera, WiFi, BT, IMU Sensors
• Connectivity limited to Phone
• Manufactured by CM (Taiwan)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $130,000.00 per year
