Family Healthcare Associates is seeking a Call Center Representative for our North Richland Hills location. The Call Center Representative, under general supervision, performs the scheduling function for clinical locations.
The Call Center Representative will be responsible for:

• Schedule, confirm, and verify patient appointments. Respond to routine inquires concerning practice services, hours of operations, and general questions regarding the practice.
• Answer phone calls in a professional manner with an emphasis on assisting the patient.
• Verify patient identity and demographics and enter changes into practice management system.
• Verify patient insurance information by contacting the appropriate insurance carrier and/or utilizing automated insurance verification system.
• De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering patient assistance and support.
• Collaborate with front office and clinical staff regarding patient appointments and questions. Route appropriate messages to clinical staff so patient care is continuously monitored and appropriately addressed.
• Scan patient documents including insurance information into the EMR system.
• Meet all call center metrics regarding productivity
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate department
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Follows all organization policies and procedures regarding booking of schedules for patients
• Upholds HIPAA and PHI regulations
• Punctual and dependent for assigned shifts

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Certified Medical Assistant certification or LVN helpful
Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
2+ years’ experience in call center environment or healthcare facility preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
