About the role:
The purpose of the Calibration Technician I role is to set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs, and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.

What Will I Be Doing?
Use proprietary software to view daily work assignments, begin and end calibrations, track instrument data, and supervise equipment performance
Operate hardware such as manual dead weight pressure testers, hydraulic pressure testers, ovens, chillers, calibration bath hardware, pressure vessels, etc.
Interpret calibration results and evaluate sensor performance with oversight
Recognize and report problems with quality, processes, equipment or materials to Calibration Lead, Supervisor or Operations Manager
Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices
Flexible start time between 5:30 AM and 8 AM What Are The Qualifications?
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years of related work experience
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistently
Basic knowledge of vital instruments and tools
