We are seeking an entry level position which is responsible for building all base and wall cabinets according to the customer order and/or pick list. The Builder/Assembler needs to be driven and committed to help maintain a high-quality level that our customers are accustomed to.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and organize steps of cabinet assembly
- Assemble fabricated cabinets
- Keep work station clean and organized
- Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing daily goals
- Prepare finished cabinets for shipping by stacking and wrapping properly
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Work towards continuous improvement and efficiency
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Knowledge:
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Detail oriented
- Experience with reading and building from assembly prints
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Ability to work in an uncontrolled climate with potential to extreme temperature exposure
- Focused and hardworking
- Ability to receive directions from the management staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Requires High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience in a warehouse environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
