Position Scope:
The Business Strategy and Planning Analyst will be an integral position for development and implementation of the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit strategy by analyzing the market environment and industry landscape. This Business Analyst will develop insight and understanding of the Aerospace & Defense market and industry. This position will also require the use of internal enterprise and data systems to support the development of actionable data for senior leadership. Assistance with the execution of strategic initiatives or projects required. This role will help maintain a process and cadence in support of enterprise systems, data and reports for the end-users. Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform surveillance and research into internal and external data in support of growth opportunities and/or the strategic plan execution within the Aerospace & Defense business unit
  • Provide data-driven analysis on financial, operational, market information
  • Assist with the development and/or execution of the A&D strategic plan
  • Utilize enterprise data systems to input and/or compile data, develop reports, formulate insights, and present actionable data for senior leadership
  • Lead and/or participate in project improvement and process mapping activities to support the Business Unit
  • Recommend changes and drive initiatives to improve enterprise systems and/or their utilization
  • Prepare project plans and track project phases in support of the Strategic Analysis group activities
  • Assist the Business Development team as needed with forecast, bookings, backlog information.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings
  • Other activities as necessary to support the Strategy & Growth team and/or Business Unit
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong literacy and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate to high levels within the organization
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to multitask on several priority issues simultaneously without degrading quality
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, or related
  • 0-2 years of experience in market research, business development, or other relevant experience
Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.
Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation range and bonus are based upon specific physical locations.
Santa Clara/San Jose: $49,600.42 - $78,400.66 with Annual Bonus Potential
San Diego: $45,467.05 - $71,867.27 with Annual Bonus Potential
Santa Ana/Anaheim: $47,533.73 - $75,133.97 with Annual Bonus Potential
Colorado: $45,467.05 - $71,867.27 with Annual Bonus Potential
Export Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
