Job Title: Business Relationship Specialist

Reports to: AVP, Manager of Business Services
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt S/T 110
Location: This is an in-office role.
ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for supporting business members’ management of daily cash inflows and outflows through TruMark Financial’s cash management and business services program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be the SME, providing technical support and daily management of all cash management systems including, account analysis, ACH origination, online wire transfers, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), IOLTA accounts, positive pay, online/mobile banking and bill pay.
  • Conduct new cash management service request assessments, execute agreements, and complete annual reviews for online wire transfers and RDC, making and communicating recommendations based on reviews.
  • Responsible for daily and month business services program reporting, including board reports and IOLTA.
  • Supports branches and MSC with account opening, business documentation or business products and services questions. Conducting regular branch visits or check-ins to determine resources or training needed.
  • Provide support and assistance for Business Development teams with account opening, CRM follow-up, and service issues.
  • Effectively identifies and makes appropriate recommendations or referrals for cash management and business banking products and services needs for existing business members.
  • Assists in product development with creation of internal and external procedures and manuals for existing and newly established business products & services.
  • Responsible for system updates for new and existing business products and services, including rate changes, disclosure updates, and new product or service set up.
  • Provide system expertise to offer constructive feedback and direction to improve performance and processes for continuous development of business deposit products.
  • Accountable for supporting the Business Development team in achievement of business deposit goals through relevant products & services and supporting key metrics and data from outside sources for competitive analysis.
  • Assist in product development and interacting with various venders and internal stakeholders to gathers product information, quotes, technical information, and decimating to the necessary information.
  • Acts as quality control for new business accounts opened in conjunction with the Compliance and BSA.
  • Assist in organizing and participate in networking events or community involvement to promote TruMark Financial.
  • Completes all other tasks, assignments or functions as assigned and/or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree extensive related industry experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in Cash Management Services or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively, tactfully and professionally with members, non-members, co-workers and other institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations for corporate ACH users
  • Knowledge of FinTech, including payment systems, cash management solutions, and market trends.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and to work independently and within necessary time lines.
  • Aptitude for detail and financial analysis.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Be a committed team player.
  • Demonstrate teamwork through flexibility and maintain effective communication with other departments to achieve business development goals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret compensation, tax, financial, legal, regulatory reports and documents. Ability to respond to inquiries and business deposit/loan related scenarios from members, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present job related information to employees.
