HYBRID OPPORTUNITY

Job Summary:

WAC Lighting is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to add to our successful and growing sales support team in our Port Washington, NY Global Headquarters. This person must have an entrepreneurial spirit and start-up mindset with a passion to grow the business, take ownership, be hands on, and flexible to perform a variety of tasks. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of supporting our clients through customer service, technical support, and serve as a key resource to our e-commerce trading partners.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work in a team environment to exceed client expectations.

· Answer incoming sales inquiries by phone and/or e-mail.

· Effectively manage multiple projects and assignments through completion.

· Maintain a high level of product knowledge.

· Develop strong relationships with all decision makers including distributors, specifiers, architects, designers, and project managers.

· Work with internal support teams, to ensure all aspects of project management are completed at a high level of service and within expected timelines.

• Collaborate with team manager to develop and execute promotions and maximize promotional exposure.

· Maintain up to date online product assortment and content with e-commerce trading partners.

• Audit online pricing and unauthorized distributors to enforce WAC Lighting’s Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and administer corrective action.
• Work with operations to ensure orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner.

Requirements:

· Superior customer service skills.

· Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

· Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks/demands and get results.

· Strong organization and project management skills.

· Strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications - SAP a big plus

• Basic level of excel knowledge is required, advanced knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with major online retailers is a plus (Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Hayneedle/Jet.com).
