Position Summary:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for increasing SERVPRO's brand awareness and expanding its client base. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, conduct marketing calls, participate in marketing events, and achieve sales goals.
This position will cover our Garland and Saline County territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the competitive advantages of using SERVPRO and effectively communicate the brand's benefits to clients and customers.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with potential clients in the assigned sales territory by conducting daily marketing calls.
- Increase brand awareness by participating in marketing events such as professional associations, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education (CE) classes.
- Utilize marketing software to document daily marketing calls and track all lead activity and opportunities.
- Provide regular revenue updates and reports to management.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales territory goals to increase sales revenue.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years of direct sales experience.
- Strong process and results-driven attitude.
- Experience in the cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and online.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Highly motivated to achieve sales goals.
- Strong proficiency in using marketing software.
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Compensation: $33,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
