Are you passionate about fitness and sales, and love cultivating relationships, then ABC Fitness Solutions, Business Development Representative is the position for you. ABC Fitness Solutions is looking for driven sales individuals that thrive in a self-starter environment. You will work closely with sales and marketing team to maximize the value of all inbound leads as well as cultivate prospect's accounts to drive opportunities for the North American Sales teams.

The Business Development Representative drives the creation of qualified new business opportunities form Marketing Qualified Leads, through proactive pursuit and account nurturing for the company’s North American sales team. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Salesforce.com, possess the ability to effectively communicate around current business challenges to identify our core customers business needs. This position requires heavy outbound prospecting, phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to generate new clients.

The BDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all ABC Fitness Solutions and have experience call into a diverse client base.

What to expect:
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • 400 emails touchpoints, 150 calls, 10 account creations and 5 vid yards per week
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of ABC Fitness Solutions expansive list of branding solutions
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with potential clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Regional Sales Managers
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Develop creative tactics and strategies to reach target prospects; schedule qualified discovery calls with said target prospects; generate qualified meeting
  • Record and track all activity in Salesforce and Salesloft to provide background and next steps for the Marketing and Sales Manager to ensure alignment of teams as well as effective follow up with prospects
  • Create strategic emails to target prospect accounts
  • Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information
  • Draft outreach plans and messaging sequences
  • Identify needs and challenges of prospective customers

Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or a related field
  • 0-2 Years’ at a Business-to-Business organization in an Inside Business Development or Inside Sales role – recent graduates welcome
  • Previous sales or telephone prospecting experience
  • You are experienced in data analysis and sales tools use
  • You will share best practices, improve processes and messaging, and provide detailed reporting to Executive Management
  • We are looking for someone who is excited to work in a fast paced, high growth company and develop a career in sales
  • Previous experience working with SaaS or Cloud-based solutions are nice to have
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A track record of high achievement (quota)
  • Confident, clear and succinct communication style – both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Knowledge of a CRM preferred (Salesforce.com) and Salesloft
  • Excellent instincts for conversing with executives via the phone
  • Able to learn quickly with the ability to tackle any challenge.
