Position Summary: Kalman Manufacturing is a Precision CNC machine shop poised for growth that currently enjoys an excellent reputation in the Medical Device industry. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to capitalize on our current success and assist us in exploring new opportunities both inside and outside of our current sales footprint.

This individual will analyze industry and demand trends and support management with the development and implementation of marketing/branding and sales strategies to reach and exceed our goal forecasts.

This BDM will be responsible to prospect, convert, and successfully deliver new opportunities to Kalman Manufacturing with a strong ability to leverage existing relationships as well as developing new market opportunities in the Medical Device and Semiconductor Industries and other untapped markets that we can service with our manufacturing capabilities.

As a member of the commercial team, the Business Development Manager will develop the necessary relationships with the client to be able to evaluate the client’s current and future business needs, understand Kalman’s technical and operational capabilities, and synthesize these into potential commercial and operational activities to support the account and defend our position.

The BDM will be responsible for participating in the alignment of Kalman’s business model with the client’s operational and technical roadmaps, developing strategies to satisfy complex and multi-functional customer requirements with other Kalman functional stakeholders, analyzing business data to determine if enacted strategies are successful or in need of improvement, and presenting commercial and technical responses to senior managers, both external and internal.

The BDM will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets set by Management and will provide weekly updates regarding Kalman Manufacturing’s customer relationships with customer sales projections, new opportunity logs and call plans accordingly, timely, and consistently.

Maintains updated competitors’ information, i.e.: their services and practices, and keep management informed concerning them. Will Analyze industry and demand trends and support management with the development and implementation of marketing strategies

Will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism and follow up with customers, as well as developing leads and seeking opportunities to present additional manufacturing services to current and potential customers.

Explore and utilize social media catering to our target audience/customers in an effort to generate leads.

The Business Development Manager has a significant influence on Kalman Manufacturing’s business and performance in this role is highly visible and critical to the company’s growth.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in appropriate business or STEM fields

· 5 to 10 years of experience in marketing, sales or account management of technology related products or services in a B2B sales environment

· An understanding of Machining Services and Machining processes with Knowledge of the Medical Device Industry or other Industries in need of our services

· Demonstrated ability to create fruitful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

· Must have marketing and sales acumen to develop leads, explain the products, and address questions and concerns in order to make sales and process orders.

· Exceptional analytical skills for data analysis and synthesis

· Expert negation skills

· Strong communication capabilities, including demonstrated ability to produce presentations and deliver them to senior managers and C-level clientele

· Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
