Overall Job Description

Meet or Exceed sales objectives of assigned territory- Southeast region, by promoting and selling IEI through professional sales techniques, product services, and long-term customer relationships.

Major Activities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets; achieve maximum sales in assigned territory through reseller, System integrator, distributors, sales rep, and end users.
  • Create target account list from web research, company directory…etc to generate new leads.
  • Makes at least 25 quality sales call each week on distributor, SI, or end customers.
  • Prepare Quotations and review Proposals (from PM) for Project Business
  • Review and follow thru Business Contract with Legal Department. Business Contract should consist of managing shipping schedule, Excess inventory liability, and EOL management.
  • Work with inside/account managers team to meet customer expectations
  • Make the appropriate number of calls on prospects versus customers. Identify potential growth areas, and open new accounts
  • Travel as required within territory (generally 25-40%)
  • Submit timely reports as directed.
  • Team up with channel partners and/or outside sales rep to build pipeline and close deals
  • Increase market share by calling on a large ODM/OEM to promote and sell IEI products and services, communicate special programs, present IEI company profile and new products, handle and process warranties
  • Prepare and conduct training and educational seminars to distributors, partners, SI, and resellers.
  • Collect competitive information from customers, distributors, and sometimes competitors rep.
  • Handle and resolve problems and complaints
  • Sell All products but concentrate on panel PC, and System and Solution sell to increase revenue. (install RAM/Storage/OS/extended warranty etc…)
  • Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Negotiate delivery, availability, warranty, and pricing
  • Conduct customer education and product information meetings
  • Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire better selling skills.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets for IPC.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or better
  • 2+ Years Experiences in business development
  • Good to have experiences in computer hardware industry
  • Good to be familiar with computer market in Southeast or Central region
  • Working location: Southeast or Central region (work from home) or Pomona, CA (office)
