Allison Equipment Group is a US importer and distributor of capital equipment for the Port and Marine Terminal industry which includes liquid bulk and LNG marine terminals, dry bulk, break bulk, container, and cruise ship docks. Our customers include port authorities, marine terminal owners/operators, civil engineering firms that design industrial marine terminals, and marine construction companies. We market and sell equipment in North America and the Caribbean.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Business Development Manager for key markets in the US. This is a mid-level national sales position. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with target owners, engineering, and construction firms. Goals include increasing market share in established markets, working closely with our Suppliers to develop new markets, and identifying and qualifying new equipment requirement opportunities.

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with established customers, identifying, and developing relationships with new customers, execution of proactive marketing and sales plans, assisting in the preparation and submittal of bids and quotes, converting quotes to purchase orders, and post bid and project performance evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with established business relationships with key engineering and construction firms in the industry
  • Successful business development track-record in target markets
  • A strong structural or mechanical background is required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
