Questel is a true end-to-end intellectual property solutions provider to more than 20,000 clients and 1,5M users across 30 countries. We offer a comprehensive software suite for searching, analyzing and managing inventions and IP assets.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and outgoing person to join our Business Development team. Your role will be centered on building and developing relationships, supporting Sales and Marketing teams to drive business, grow the sales pipeline and ensure the company's goals and targets are met.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Build and cultivate professional relationships with C-level executives by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to create new opportunities

· Generate qualified monthly meetings through outbound calling and email campaigns for the sales team on all product and service lines focused on IP

· Map the territories/accounts for prospective sales leads

· Work jointly with management to define phone and mail pitches for each ideal customer profile in the IP industry

· Build individual strategic business plans to penetrate accounts in each territory

· Follow-up on Questel events and communications (webinars, newsletters, whitepapers, etc.)

· Collaborate with the marketing team to drive social media activities across the sales team to identify prospects

· Ensure accurate and timely reporting to management via CRM and email to ensure proper tracking and monitoring of monthly goals

· Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with inside sales and / or cold calling required.

· Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to assess customer needs and present solutions

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and regularly report on progress

· Experience with CRM software preferred

· Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments, driven by results and ambitious to surpass the set objectives

· Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
