BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES EXECUTIVE

Company Location: Northeast, New Jersey

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and Travel for direct sales activities.
  • Participate in trade shows and fairs.
  • Identify prospective customers.
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features and solicit orders.
  • Meet with buyers and merchandising managers of retailers with the objective of gaining detailed understanding of their needs, recommend and create solutions.
  • Prepare, estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
  • Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
  • Monitor orders and delivery of products.
  • Train customers' employees.
  • Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Prioritize and manage new projects for retailers, such as new concepts and programs to drive sales.
  • Ensure customers are familiar with the Dora brand and its business model.
  • Monitor market conditions, innovations and competitors' products, prices and sales.
  • Perform competitor analysis of key target customers, make action recommendations and implement such.
  • Interact with Marketing manager, product management, product development and communication team to develop new/exclusive product tools for key accounts.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports. Keeping sales records and filing expense account reports.
  • On a monthly basis, report and comment on sales activities to management as appropriate.
  • Train and Manage customer service representatives and other salesmen.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree
  • 8+ years professional level experience
  • High passion for Jewelry sales
  • Experience working with the Buying Groups, Retail chains and Retail Shops.
  • Excellent sales management and relationship building skills
  • Smart business judgment
  • Strong project management skills.
  • High degree of creativity in data source- and information management
