BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES EXECUTIVE

Company Location: Northeast, New Jersey
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and Travel for direct sales activities.
- Participate in trade shows and fairs.
- Identify prospective customers.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features and solicit orders.
- Meet with buyers and merchandising managers of retailers with the objective of gaining detailed understanding of their needs, recommend and create solutions.
- Prepare, estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
- Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
- Monitor orders and delivery of products.
- Train customers' employees.
- Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
- Prioritize and manage new projects for retailers, such as new concepts and programs to drive sales.
- Ensure customers are familiar with the Dora brand and its business model.
- Monitor market conditions, innovations and competitors' products, prices and sales.
- Perform competitor analysis of key target customers, make action recommendations and implement such.
- Interact with Marketing manager, product management, product development and communication team to develop new/exclusive product tools for key accounts.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports. Keeping sales records and filing expense account reports.
- On a monthly basis, report and comment on sales activities to management as appropriate.
- Train and Manage customer service representatives and other salesmen.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree
- 8+ years professional level experience
- High passion for Jewelry sales
- Experience working with the Buying Groups, Retail chains and Retail Shops.
- Excellent sales management and relationship building skills
- Smart business judgment
- Strong project management skills.
- High degree of creativity in data source- and information management
