The Role
We are hiring Business Analysts to partner with functional and business operations leaders across the company to lead the analytical work required to perceive, diagnose and resolve our company's most pressing business priorities. The Business Analyst will be the analytics firepower behind data-driven decision-making for the functions they're embedded in and partnering with. This will be a high visibility, high-impact opportunity within our nascent but growing BizOps & Analytics function.
You Will
- Work directly with the Head of Functions (CEO - 1) and BizOps Leads to develop analysis plans/roadmaps, and then lead execution from data collection to writing updates for the Executive Team
- Build and maintain weekly/monthly Operational Reporting, Executive Dashboards, and other ad hoc analyses that will help operators and company leadership understand performance & productivity within functions
- Lead analytical projects from scoping, data collection, data cleaning, analysis, and synthesis to test hypotheses and diagnose business problems
You Are
- Experienced leading end-to-end analytical projects (from scoping to synthesis + recommendations) in partnership with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, ideally in a start-up environment
- A structured problem solver that can take ambiguous or open-ended questions and break them down into discrete hypotheses and analysis plans
- A strong communicator that can simplify complex problems via simple data visualizations and clear write-ups for both technical & non-technical audiences
- Business-minded in how you approach problems and are eager to understand what the data means from the context of business objectives and customer outcomes
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a high growth/rapidly changing environment
- Proficient in SQL (required), Google Sheets or Excel, and Looker (or similar platforms). Experience in Python or R is nice to have
