As a member of the Filing Team within MedPro’s Legal Department, you will assist with the preparation and submission of insurance policy rate, rule and form filings to state Departments of Insurance, respond to inquiries and objections from Departments of Insurance, and assist with implementation of approved filings. In addition, you will assist with implementation of system changes, maintenance of information and analysis and problem solving of issues as they arise.

In this role, you will…

Prepare, facilitate, and/or implement company regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for various state Departments of Insurance (DOI).
Maintain current, accurate business information in numerous locations for use by internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and communicate solutions to arising issues, and follow through until issue resolution.
Maintain various policy issuance information in relevant policy administration systems.
Ensure accuracy of business information on the company intranet and Internet pages.
Represent the Filing Team perspective and collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g., Actuarial and Data, Underwriting, Market Management, Claims, Operations/IT, and Legal) to facilitate successful outcomes and resolutions for business projects.
Analyze and maintain metrics in support of departmental goals.
Support functional areas as needed and as requested by supervising manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

BS/BA degree or relevant experience (required).
Experience working within the insurance industry (preferred).
Demonstrated experience in highly detailed projects with extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel).
Desktop Publishing (Publisher) experience (preferred).
Experience with database development/management.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working within a team based environment.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and to quickly switch between tasks.
